CLS offers both bespoke and nationally accredited Lean Training programs to a wide variety of business sectors, including Health, Manufacturing, Construction and Logistics.

Each CLS programme involves a mixture of off the job workshops developed around activity based learning and supported project based work. Each project, is targeted to deliver cost savings and improvements to your business.

As each participant is actively involved in the delivery of the project, the learning is experiential. Employees becoming more and more confident as they deliver each project, building capacity for participants to learn to solve their own problems on the shop floor.

Depending on the size of your business, we can use our programme or tailor it based on your preferred or proprietry continued improvement framework.

Our programs emerged from strong market demand for practical lean deployment. In Australia, we developed a Lean Program based on what we saw each sector needed, then mapped it against the nationally accredited training programme, Competitive Systems and Practices.

CLS is unique in this approach. This has resulted in the most practical based Competitive Systems and Practices programme available.

The CLS program focuses on the real, underpinning, fundamental basics that are needed for true cultural shift towards a lean environment.  It provides the foundations that are essential for reliable, predictable outcomes. I have no hesitation in recommending the CLS team to anyone serious about embracing Lean Thinking. The CLS approach is practical and delivered where the value-add activity is. It is user friendly at every level within the organisation.

The Opportunity to make your company more competitive and gain qualifications supported by local funding.

CLS has developed a strong and practical training programme as part of the Competitive Systems and Practices certification.

The programme is based on a mixture of workshops, activity based learning and experiential learning through project based work. Each and every participant is involved in the delivery of a series of projects, whilst being supported by one of our Lean Specialists in the workplace.

The projects are targeted based on areas of opportunity identified by the management team, therefore delivering significant savings to your business.

Each of our specialists have worked with many businesses to identify and measure relevant targets, implement continuous improvement projects and deliver considerable savings to businesses, whilst transferring the knowledge of how to think and behave within a lean culture

Government Funding for Lean Training Programmes

Throughout Victoria, CLS is able to deliver state government funded Lean Training programmes, under the national certification of Competitive Systems and Practices.

In Victoria, this is delivered under the Skills First Program, which provides funding for nationally recognised certifications for eligible Victorian based participants.

The Competitive Systems and Practices certification is available at  Certificate ll, III, IV and Diploma levels and covers (depending on the level undertaken) 5S, Lean Values and visual management through to our Advanced Lean for supervisors and managers with our diploma programme.

We also offer a Diploma programme that we have specifically built for continuous improvement teams and managers. As part of the programme, we assist CI Managers and coordinators to deliver difficult and challenging projects.

As every business is unique, we tailor our programmes to meet your requirements.
